As you know, I’m always on the lookout for unique original recipes that we can reproduce. We have a winner here!! This came from a very early 1930s receipt titled “Mosquito Chaser.” Take a look at the original label! Super cute! ” Smells nice to people but terrible to bugs!” Yeah- that was originally on there!

So, we bring you this vintage all-natural bug spray. It has a distinctly different smell from our solid and even from our batch last year. This year, it is more minty at first, but dries down to a charming, old-fashioned scent. It’s completely different than most bug scents and has what I consider a very fresh scent to it. For me, I smell Mint and undercurrents of Patchouli. It could be regarded as a very bright and revitalizing scent. Totally worth a try. It’s not over-powdering or offensive. Not only does this vintage product smell amazing, but it’s also made with natural herbs and oils that repel bugs. Although the title specifically says mosquito, It will work for a variety of other pesky summer insects.

NOTE: This will separate. Shake before use! As with all our liquids, bits of organic material could settle out. Just shake—do a test patch first. As with all essential oil products, you want to make sure you aren’t allergic or sensitive.

Directions: Apply to skin as needed. Keep away from the eyes.
