NOTE: If you get one with some “lumps,” don’t worry; it’s beeswax. I got a little happy scraping the bowl and didn’t realize I had taken some from the side that had cooled early on before it could mix properly with the rest. But I quickly fixed it, only potting a few that way. The most significant part of the potted batch is smooth and as expected. I’m sure this happened historically too.

The original recipe says, ” It cle ars and pres erves the complexion and is of use for red pimpled faces”. I have been testing this cream for a few months now, and the original uses are correct, it quickly helps broken or red skin, including common spots and breakouts.
