Leave in Hair conditioner for shine and more
Historically, Honey Water was used as a hair rinse and perfume for the hair.
We had a lot of requests to take our Honey Water For The Hair and create a pomade. Here it is!! It doesn’t only smell amazing, but the oils in it are good for your hair, too!! We created a soft pomade, which means there is no wax in this recipe.
Solid Perfume? Yes, you can use this soft pomade for perfume, too. Rub some into your pulse points!!
This scent is wonderfully charming and totally unisex. It’s very vintage but not overpowering. So whether you use it as a soft pomade for finishing off your vintage or historical hairstyle, or you try using it after you shower as a leave-in conditioner. This product is extremely versatile! As we said, the original recipe is the Honey Water, ( found in our shop), but if you want some background, here it is:
This recipe came from the personal archives of “Marie Dolores Eliza Rosanna Gilbert, Countess of Landsfeld[1] (17 February 1821 – 17 January 1861). She was better known by the stage name of Lola Montez. Lola was an Irish dancer and actress who became famous as a “Spanish dancer,” courtesan, and mistress of King Ludwig I of Bavaria. He made her Countess of Landsfeld.” Wikipedia
