If you are thinking about wanting to start powdering your hair. This is a great kit. It comes with everything you need to get started and some historical hairpins to begin styling. Hair Powder wasn’t only used in the 18th century; however, that is the century we mostly associate it with. As the hair powder trend was dying out at the end of the 18th century, it didn’t disappear. The product eventually became rebranded as a dry shampoo. Hair powder and dry shampoo were used here and there throughout history to control the greasiness and give hair extra volume, so you can use this set in your daily routine as well. It can help with volume, styling, flyaways, curl setting, and controlling oil.

This is a great kit for working on 18th-century hair- it has the basics for general historical hairdressing and haircare. It also comes in a nice sturdy box that will be easy to pack with your historical gear. Remember, if you want the pomades changed- just let us know in the note section of the checkout.
